Battlefield 3 PC discussion thread MK II

Close quarters dlc is free during the E3 week.

To claim your free Close Quarters DLC, simply go to your platforms in-game store (for consoles) or Origin client (for PC). In your Origin app, enter the "Redeem Code" menu and enter this code: BF3E3. That's it! Close Quarters will now be tied to your account, and will stay there forever.

Hey all, sorry to necro the thread, but I was wondering if anyone is actually playinf BF3 regularly still or are you just waiting for BF4 to come out. I was considering firing up origin again soon to give the game a bit of a swing. How are the servers? Are there still enough players on them?

Yes dude, come join us. I'm on most nights. There are still plenty of players and I guess there will still be lots after BF4's release.
 
Look for my nick, I usually try to join up with some of my fellow SS Clan members. We TS on our sponsored server mostly.

Anyways, anyone know how to contact Kompete offline? I got a link from him last night for a Battlefield4 Beta, but the link and the page looks very dodgy.
It features a Battlelog login screen, but the text is Northern European/Russian.

Maybe his account was hijacked, can anyone please check in with him if that is the case? Contacting him via Origin or Battlelog may just tip of the hacker.

Hi Jaco, yeah a few of my friends also got that.
It takes you to the site and when you put in your login details it saves them, logs into your real account and changes your email address. EA have confirmed that they know about this and are busy helping users get their accounts back.

So thats pretty much it...
 
Definitely a scam Jaco. Easy to spot because of the double post and the bad engrish.
DICE will send out invites or an announcement themselves when the BETA starts.

Yep, I thought so, that's why I ignored it. My Origin / EA was hacked around April. Just wanted to warn him.
 
I couldn't play BF3 for months after I had pre-ordered it because my computer had weird problems with this game! My moms ultrabook can even run it:) I loooove this game
 
Thanks to the The Humble Origin Bundle, I can now play BF3 with my lad. I didn't pay attention, he actually wanted Crysis 2, so it was a pleasant surprise to find BF3 included.
