Battlefield 3 preped or not?

I reckon any good quad core cpu, around 4 gigs DDRIII ram, and something like 5850/5870/6870 or 460GTX/560ti will be good for this. There is nothing i've seen to make me change my mind about it, and to be quite honest, I don't see BF3 outdoing Crysis 2 or Witcher 2.

ye i would agree to that

tho ironically Crysis 2 is not as intensive as Crysis 1, i would still use Crysis 1 as the benchmark.

Witcher 2 is insane!

i just want to be able to run everything on high in BF3, but beta will give a better idea

If you can run witcher 2 on medium to high settings then your set no problem and try playing crysis 2 with the DX11 ultra patch, makes it look even more smexy. I do agree the original crysis has still got epic graphics, I just think Crysis 2 is more refined.

Currently my PC can push BC2 out at about 50fps at 1080p, high setting. Witcher 2 at about 40 or so. So if BF3 averages between those values I'll be more than happy. :)

often when i used fraps i hit 40fps in BC2 and its ok, i prefer 60fps, if it drops abit to say 50fps i'll be happy

otherwise i may xfire

I need to upgrade something in my rig, just dunno what =/

I have at the moment :

2500k
4gb RAM
90gb SSD
2 x GTX 570 (Bios modded to 580).
and 3 LCD's for Nvdia Surround Vision.

My pc still feels slow.. I'm thinking another SSD?
