Battlefield 3 retail will require Origin to play

When Half-Life 2 was released we were forced to install Steam, and you know what people bitched about it then, and now that EA is doing the same we bitch about it some more? In all honestly with more digital distribution "stores" it's win win for us consumers. I've been using Origin since they revealed it at E3 and am definitely going to get BF3 from Origin.

I really don't mind needing Origin to play this. Heck, if I had to install BF3 on its own hard-drive I would ;)

Regarding the pre-purchase though, I unfortunately don't have uncapped.. And I really want to smell the manual of the game and put it next to all my other Battlefields :)

bf3 has still got me hook line and sinker, they would have to do something drastically wrong to mess this game up.
I do wish they could make the guns feel more realistic and have better damage attached to each weapon, it is really frustrating when you have shot some one on 3 different bursts of fire and they don't die :)

I find in BC2 the hip fire accuracy for certain weapons (especially assault rifles) in close range is a lot lower than it should be. If you think about it, if someone was 5-10m away you probably would not aim down the sites to hit him, at least not if you were a properly trained soldier.

Quite the opposite actually , down the sight allow's for better accuracy and stability real guns have quite a kick to them , also allows us to target specific areas we don't always go for head shots like in the games.
Hip fire only works well in the movies , Rambo lol

Anyway
What difference does it make, one way or the other we will still get BF3 .... its just such a pain having so many different online account 's
Then there will be crap with the DLC ....hhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
The things we gamer's have to put up with

You got me thinking of hip firing assault rifles in BF2... If you knew what you were doing, the AK101 never needed to be aimed down sites ;)
/cue nostalgia
