But ja, Origin is kak. Had to play till 1 am this morning because I just had to :p Now I'm tired at work :(
 
Anyone know if WAGE has the update on their ftp server? Thinking of trying another source.

Urgh seriously, I hope EA realizes that Origin is just. Not. Going. To. Work.
Release the game on Steam like a normal sane publisher and let the masters do their work; you just worry about maintaining your servers, Electronic Arts.

I saw a nice Skyrim one about defeating 5 dragons and then getting pwned by a Cave Bear

The sad part is that EA is going to be punting Origin on all it's software and I predict they will discontinue all support/products on Steam.
 
Well it should get better.... steam is mature and origin can learn from them.

Played BF3 for the first time last night, was struggling a lot at first and then I remember that I should play it like a BF game and ended on a much better note. Is it just me or does it seam like flying is a bit easier in BF3 than the previous ones?
 
I dunno, Origin is definitely "gaining" if you look at features. But I think that big features are the easiest to add - Valve have spent the past 3 years or so not changing much from the core experience but rather fine-tuning Steam for the best user experience. So I think in reality Origin still has a loooong way to go before properly catching up to Steam
 
I meant Origin is catching up on my hate list with Steam...

Did I say this here earlier: "Steam needs to be renamed to glacier because of it's speed".

Lol Jaco there is actually 0 reason to hate the steam currently available. Since using steam from November 2009 ive had 1 issue with steam. A single problem in the whole time span. And that issue was when the 1st DLC of MW2 was released.

Origin cant even keep me logged into EA online long enough to load a map.

BTW keep an eye on steam next week. Christmas specials. Love the christmas specials. Hey origin will probably put Sims 3 "Lets build a better Origin" on special from next week.
