You guys realize that the dlc was around 1.5GB - 2GB...the other 2Gb was a patch/fixes and yes future patches will be large, there are still a HUGE amount of issues with the game.

You can google it and you will likely find this info on 100+ websites. True story dude. If you want, you could also do the math:

The Limited Edition copies got a 3.9GB patch while the normal retail copies got a 2GB patch.

So that means: B2K = 2GB. Patch = 1.9GB.

The patch is 17% of the original install. Which isnt that huge.

"How big is the BF3 patch" or something? Lol, you'll see that they say the patch is 2GB. The extra 1.9GB is all the B2K maps and shit.

Oh well, in this day and age 2GB's isnt really a lot and the patches are welcomed as joker has endless issues

My BF3 has failed to load a couple of times when the server switches maps. Quite frustrating! I hope they can fix this in one of the next patches. Would be a bonus if the next patch isn't another 4GB

Minimize the game before the countdown reaches zero and wait for x amount of seconds, no more crashes.
Works for me.

If I wanted to reinstall my PC, is there a way to backup your BF3 folder so that you don't have to redownload the patches?

I just copy the entire folder, then after the format let origin start the install, close origin and copy the files back, start origin and repair. Sometimes it work perfectly, other times it download about a 100Mb.

The T88 LMG is bad ass.i was walking in a corridor and managed to kill up to 8 enemies taking minimal damage.only problem was the sniper with a semi-auto rifle at the other end where the corridor makes a curve.

I really want my K/D up to 2.0

Well it's mostly made for the MP.i think BFBC2's singleplayer was better then BF3's but then again i haven't really started it yet.

It's not really single player co-op. It's a set of 6 missions, some taken from the single player but played backwards. You should be able to unlock all the weapons after 2 play throughs with the new patch. They made it easier.

copy the entire folder to another drive, format your windows partition, reinstall windows, reinstall origin, start download of BF3 so it can create the bf3 folder, cancel download, copy folder to the origin bf3 folder, update the game, should work, i've done it before. got a copy of the current folder for backup purposes as well.
