Battlefield 3

Battlefield 3 ... In a nutshell:

Walk - Run.
Shoot - Get fired upon.
Arm - Disarm.
Capture - Lose.
Melee - Get Melee'd.
Prone (for too long) - Get knifed (for being a noob).
Camp - Get hated upon (and flanked eventually).
Noobtube - Get melee'd or shot (melee'd preferably, more satisfying).
Use claymore - Get b*tched upon.
Toss grenade - Kill one more (in many cases, none or slight damage).
Use mortar -Get kills (and sometimes shot from behind or front, or have C4 ''strategically'' placed on your back).
Snipe - Get kills from a distance (or knifed or trolled).
Place C4 on tank (manage to escape) - Blows up tank (with noob inside).
Use Aimbot - Get banned.
Pretty much everything else - Score points.

Is anyone else really really frustrated with the weapons after the patch? All the assault rifles feel like putty guns and are really really unrealistically inaccurate. Never thought I'd be posting negatively about BF3 but this patch has really ruined the game for me. And I'm changing my shortcut to Blurrfield 3. :mad: </rant>

Welcome to my world. Hence the fact that it's taking me 5 years to get to level 100 from 97. I hardly play. Way too frsutrating/irritating/filled with dodgy players/broken after patch to be able to come home after work and play this game.

Too many things broken, too few fixed with the new patch.

Oh, and I can't stand people's helmets shooting me anymore. Someone's hairline has never been able to kill me in an FPS, but apparently, it can in BF3.

The best is when the BF3 regulars exploit this little bug.

@Saint. From your side you only see the very top of his head hence hairline but from his side he has full view of you and insta kills you.

now this is a funny story, i jumped on this server at about 11pm, was like 8-9 guys on, a few SiB's and a few TE okes, we were mixed around (no team stacking) and we were basically just running around not being serious, score was 250-600+, then some more TE okes jump on and Mantis from TE starts chirping something like "SiB TE clannie" and saying "our 2nd team vs ur best" and tea-bagging everyone (seriously!?!)

now we were just messing around, i was having a jol knifing my clanmates but then we start get kak from Mantis, next thing i have been team switched to the losing side and so has all the SiB guys and all the TE guys are on the other side (who are the admins for that server????) so there we were like 300+ tickets behind so we said Eff this and we started playing as a team and the above battlelog is the result :D

won by 16 tickets, funny though, mantis stopped talking when the ticket count start to even out HAHAHA

Yeah, but the thing is, you can't "exploit" it, nor can you help it. For instance, star example, on Bazaar. You guys know the kitchen spawn area? There's a concrete block outside, in the alley. Now, if you stand behind that concrete block, the enemy at A alley can only see the tip of your head. You can't help it. That's just the weapon height in the game. Can't they f*****g do it right?! I mean, seriously wtf man. That's one of the first things I would want to get right in a EEEFFFFFF PEEEEEEEEEEE ESSSSSSSSSSSS game if I was a developer.

Make the weapon shoot from the right height. It's not an exploit if you can't help it.

Oh and also, when someone is lying prone beneath stairs for example, they can see and shoot you without you even seeing the tip of their head. That's how low the prone shooting height is.

Sky if you are aware of the bug and aware of places where the bug works and you still do it then it is exploiting of said bug. No such thing you cant help it.

Not everyone will be aware of this but i promise you the guys doing it everyday are well aware of it and using it on purpose. Which is exploiting.

Um dude, I'm not going to go stand in the open because DICE can't get their shit right. It's like "Oooh, I should rather not stand behind this block, because that guy will only be able to shoot at my helmet's top. Let me stand a little bit to the left so he can see me.". Fuck THAT, seriously. I'm going to stand behind cover where I can. What I see om my screen is what it should look like if the enemy looks at me.

No one said stand in the open. Im saying if you go stand in the same spots where these bugs occur on every map every day then you are exploiting a bug. Easy as that.
