Tried bf3 after the patch and my whole system still locks up,i'm just going to fucking install a new version of windows on my current hardrive.Can't stand this crap anymore,just a few minutes ago i managed to pull of a push in metro at the stairs while it was rpg,grenade and m320 spammed.I almost made it to A after the push and BAM!!.game locks up forcing me to do a hard reset.
 
:( trust me to move flats when an update and new DLC comes out .....................COME ON TELKOM!!!!! install my line already!!!!!

I really want to get the premium. But I can't afford it at the moment but I will eventually.

Okay, hold on... when are we actually getting CQ, according to some people 2 weeks from now, but I read a post on twitter from DICE that it will be next week...

I have a feeling that next week would likely be for the premium users, followed by the regular PS3 users, then everybody else
 
i just started downloading this 2 gig patch. What a bummer that i get throttled during the day. Im sure people have already said this on this thread but what are the prices in involved for premium? How will it work? i get the dlc's but still have to pay monthly to play them? if i unlock a gun on them and the premium expires do i still get to keep the gum for the normal bf?

Edit. excuse my spelling mistakes... rushed to type before the boss came in. lol

I think premium is a once-off payment deal, whatever you get from it is yours at no extra charge (for now at least).

EDIT: not sure about pricing... I see some of the mygaming peeps have bought premium...

Yes, MW3 has a yearly subscription.
BF3 is a once off payment. It gives you all current and planned DLC for free plus some extras.

L86A1: No Shortage
20 Squad Resupplies
20 kills with light machine guns

LSAT: Point Blank
10 kills with C4
10 knife takedowns

JNG-90: Bullet Point
50 kills with sniper rifles
Win 3 rounds of Conquest Domination

M417: Team PLayer
10 T-UGS assists
Capture 20 flags

SPAS-12: These Hurt too
20 kills with pistols
20 kills with shotguns

M5K: Hold The Triger
Finish top five in Gun Master (once)
100 Kills with Submachine Guns

Most of them seem easy enough, the EOD bot might be a challenge as well as the GM top 5, C4 kills with maps that small I see a lot coming :)

In Gun Master, players race to progress through a list of pre-determined weapons by earning kills with them. The first player to earn a kill with the last weapon in the list is dubbed the winner.

Upon earning two kills for each weapon, the player ascends a level, receiving the next weapon in the list, fully loaded. The initial weapons are typically handguns, on through larger firearms, and ending with the knife. The player has access to unlimited ammo, but is limited to their assigned weapon.

Gun Master is the first game mode that eschews Battlefield's signature class- and objective-based gameplay. Because players do not choose a class, they do not have access to gadgets. They also do not have access to hand grenades (unless possibly used as a weapon level) or specializations. Although players are still divided into teams (but not squads), each player is essentially competing with every other player.
