@Xero - We dont have one. Trigger tries but he is pretty useless at it. And then we more like Meh and just run around like idiots. Did you feel like beast on the second map when we shot you down instantly with a stinger spam?
@Tooken - Man im not a very patient person. Most of us are pretty much not very patient so i like to do crazy shit the whole time. Like on BC2 i use to take the Black Hawk full of guys fly very low and very fast do a Navy Seal style quick off load and get out of there before some ass shoots at me with a Gustav.

That was with a jet btw. But ja, TV missiles in the chopppppper is HEAVY ftw!
You definitely need a lot of patience to fly the chopper. But yeah, I also like to do some crazy shit in the chopper. Like pack it full of c4 and drop it on a tank

Well, personally I find that the enemy jets are not too much of a problem. I have taken down a few of them with my heli's heatseekers. The jets generally move too quickly to be able to hit you and total you. A simple swerve often refracts their attention to another target that would probably be an easier kill. The more experienced pilots appear to come in from behind you, tree-top level and slow and primarily use their cannons and not heat-seekers. You're stuffed then.
As sky mentioned, attack and retreat, when you start off your first perk you choose should be flares, this is a life-saver and I would say that it's probably the most valuable to a chopper pilot. This is not hard to unlock as it's one of the first perks. As you get used to the chopper ensure you equip heat-seekers to remove any opposing choppers in the air (not so easy taking them out with rockets)
The best tactic I reckon is to fly in high and then proceed to the attack point while decreasing in altitude. People often sukkel trying to lock onto your chopper with Stingers when you are flying in amongst the trees popping flares.
Just ensure you have a gunner who knows better than to shoot at random obstacles instead of well, actually shooting the enemies. Kind of pointless having a gunner if he can't shoot the AA. The gunner unlocks some nice toys, thermal optics and TV guided missile are awesome!.

I'm having problems with BF3,i would play for 30min the the screen would go black and then it shows my desktop,but i can't click on anything and orgin shows that i'm still playing BF3.Running 560 Ti,someone mentioned something about flashing my bios to fix the problem but i don't know how to do that.

@XeroS1x: The way I take choppers out in the jets is to slow down all the way. You can fly just as slow as the chopper if you slow down completely. Makes it really easy to take a chopper out with one strafing run. What I also do is I fly straight at them. If they try to lock on to me, I will flare just before they get a lock and then shoot them. If they are disabled, I will come around for another round before waiting for them to land and repair. Then take them out on the ground. The choppers that are flying high up in the air, trying to engage the jets are the easiest to take down because they are super vulnerable at high altitude.

Geese, I just can't fly the jets hey. If I slow down completely I find myself falling into some river or onto a friendly tank. Imma stick to the chopper
But, you're a decent jet pilot who is able to cause havok when it comes to taking down enemy choppers and jets. The average pilot usually don't take out the choppers very well.
I'm going to stay on your team the next time we play, too risky otherwise

But I must say, the hardest thing to do in a jet is to land it. While it's on fire.
That's why I always also play engineer so that I can repair my jet when I land it.

hehe, that explains alot xDThere were literally four of you on the hilltop by D. I got totaled in the second round, first was fine, I shot your chopper down twice and took 9 okes out on the ground. Get a chopper pilot!

But I must say, the hardest thing to do in a jet is to land it. While it's on fire.
- I'll get a private server going soon and will join you okes on TS.That's the easy thing with the chopper, pretty quick to land and repair, where as with the jet you have to search for a stukkie of land.
Oh and by the way, there's this great new technique for making the game even more realistic; Set your channel quality on TS to the lowest. It sounds like real radio chatter, just get everyone to use "over". I fell of my chair, crashed the chopper and committed suicide when the admins did that.
