You're speaking out of the perspective of a fanboy now. I'm not gonna get involved in a argument.
I own the game, I played the Beta, I know whats wrong with it and whats wrong with origin. Not once did I ever mention anything about mw3 being better than BF3.

and YES they did fuck up what could have been the down fall of mw3.
 
They will sort out BF3 anyway so just give it time. MW3 wont have issues as BF as the engine is near perfect and its the second time around for them with the p2p stuff so in 4 years time if DICE still uses frostbite 2 it will be pretty epic.

But then again EA will announce another pointless new engine and well have to download 4TB patches to fix it every 2 weeks.
 
played both and both games are epic fun just prefer BF 3 so I wouldn't buy MW3 for multi player, but single player on the other hand...
 
I will be uninstalling BF3 tonight as well as EAs-piece-of-shit-useless-kak-steam-ripoff-that-cant-even-fucking-patch-a-game-correctly.

Then do a complete reinstall, then do a complete update, then maybe next week when it is all done (because Mweb's 4mb uncapped sucks donkey balls) I might be allowed to play my game...

Anyway as a FANBOY I own mw, mw2, mw3, blackOps and WAW. Oh and Bf3. They arent the same games, but Bf3 was a better release than MW3. Mw3 is shit, utter CRAP. there is NOTHING amazing about it at all.

You know whats wrong with it, please share then? I havent had any problems.

You sir seem to have an issue with everything. BF3, mweb, rustenburg... your mom?
 
Not impressed by the patch, but hey it gives us the DLC too.

Things I like:

Firstly, Back to Karkand!

The patch fixes the IRNV over-powered issue. They can only really be used a short range, which I think is fair enough to prevent any further camping that IRNV might contribute to. They have moved the chat box, it's no longer in your face, but moved, one can now view previous messages by simply opening it.

Portable suns have been toned down, although will still melt your retina if too close. The tower on Caspian now collapses, that provides many with hours of entertainment in the long run, although the fact that it's based on a timed event is annoying. They have fixed the TV missile in the chopper, although it appears it's more deadly than ever (Saw someone camping with a chopper, firing TV missiles into the enemy base:/)

Other than that, HUD colours look better.

Things I dislike:

They screwed the choppers aiming, rockets don't appear to line up with the crosshairs. Stability is still a problem. increased the jet cannons damage to all targets. Only method of downloading the patch is via Origin, no manual download option.

Sure there are a few more that I forgot to mention, but the above jumps to mind.

And just read what Jack and many of the other people have said, oh and if you want a real treat just visit the EA forums, or any of the major graphics card manufacturers forums, Evga is a good place to start.

Just think for one second. 3.9GB patch...LOL
Yes the Dlc is included in the patch but I can promise you that more than 2GB of that patch is to fix bugs/issues.
You're just being blind and like I said I can't be bothered to argue.

At the end of the day they are fixing the issues..but this game could have been truly amazing at launch if they weren't so concerned about Activision and trying to get some of that action. I bet you any money if they launched BF3 over December they would have had a better launch than Mw3.


Its simple..
FIX THE FUCKING ISSUES BEFORE LAUNCHING YOU'RE TITLE!!

that being said and done I have had the displeasure of having to download the patch again! Day one Download patch successfully load Origin yesterday evening / Origin started patch update again! Total of 6.6 or so Gigs Bandwidth later!

So that is extremely annoying if you going to code a in-house update system ensure it writes the updates correctly and there is no chance of corruptions!

I've been typing up a very strongly worded e-mail but i feel it will fall on blind eye's who's going to pay for my wasted bandwidth and time?

Sure I agree it was over powered, but just reduce the range from I-can-see-the-sniper-camping-3-miles-away-on-a-mountain-range to 50m and make it more effective in the night and on dark maps and less effective during the day.

Now you can't even see with the thing at night and close range, yes it is extremely close range, maybe 20m.

Whereas the torch is still the most over powered thing in the game, at least you don't get blinded from 1km away anymore, but it should be less effective during the day and kept the way it is now on dark and night maps.

And sorry but I think anyone that camps is a fucking noob and a giant douche and camping with an IRNV, seriously why would anyone want to camp with an awesome scope like that? You could go sniper hunting with the thing ffs and snipe them with your RPG or SMAW because you knew where they were.

I will miss my IRNV as it was awesome and it is now totally borked. Now I need to find a new sight to use.

I do have issues with STUFF THAT DOESN'T WORK. I don't know, I'm weird that way.

BF3 doesn't want to let me play and crashes after every map.
Mweb downloads 4Gb patches at 11 - 20kbps on a 4Mb uncapped line.
Rustenburg - If you ever lived here you would understand, it is Satan's Anus and hotter than hell.

And I don't mean to be a dick, Ryansta, but don't mention my mom. Ever!!!

I mean they whole planet has issues with this patch and here they are discussing it and venting about it and up pops Raynsta and just has to go the mom route.

Really dude bad form.

Anyway back to the thread at hand. Im eagerly awaiting what ill find when i get home. Another 3.9GB BF3 patch or will it actually have worked the 3rd time?
