Played yesterday and seems all the good old players from MyBB joined SS,even played a bit with you guys until i got kicked to make space for an SS member on the Brimstone server.

Do BF3 servers not have reserve slots? I had no idea the practice was kick to make space for a clan member .......
 
And tell me Mephisto, what do you think happens when you have reserved slots on a server and someone from that reserved list tries to join?
Here is what happens - the server Kicks someone off at random

Also, and to be clear, the SS server is a sponsored Clan Server, so SS may remove any players they choose to by means of kicking that player from the server
iGame does not enforce policy on Private Servers, although there are two senior iGame Admins in SS who ensure that players are treated in very close accordance to our STCU

As Xero said, it is our server dude...lol. Unfortunately the reserve slot functionality is not working at the moment so we have to do it manually. With eeenie meenie miney mo, who is it that's gunna go! -_-

I'm getting the general feeling that people don't like clans.

I was talking in the sense that: Server allows 30 players and has an extra (lemme bold that for you) X amount of slots on top of the 30/X amount a server would have. Furthermore, nowhere did I mention that a clan may not do as they wish on their server, so chill out before trying to jump down peoples throats mkay.

As my reply to Xero states, I never said you can't do that. I was under the impression reserved slots were extra slots ;)

Nope, that wouldn't work so well because we have more members in our clan than the max number of allowed players. So that would mean we will sometimes have noone to play against :D
 
I don't mind getting kicked to make space for clan members,i would have had a problem with it if there weren't so many servers with players on :D

No hard feelings bro.

If it was tanka_za then he should be proud that he made it hard work for 1 jet.

Though he wasnt happy when i said unfair 2 jets vs 1.

I guess you must be overly sensitive or something, if you see my reply as "Jumping Down Someone's Throat" then I think you need to consider reading the reply for what it is and not what you THINK it states

In your reply you state that the server has reserved slots over and above the 30 slots it would normally have?
I don't know how you thought that one through before typing, standard server is 32 slots (That would mean there are two reserved slots ? First Clan of 2 guys I see I'll setup their server like that :P)

Anyway, your statement was answered in a direct manner, if next time you want me to sugarcoat it for you, ask me directly and I'll give you the reply with Ponies and Rainbows instead of a simple statement of fact

It wasn't stated chop, I was under the impression that reserved slots were over and above the slots open to public. You get up to 64 player servers so how the hell is it that wrong for me to assume what I did. I then, in the very next post, said that I was under the impression and only used the number 30 as a throw-me-the-fuck-in-there number (because of the whole 64 player thing, you know).

You can keep your fucking sugarcoating for yourself bud, I certainly don't need it.

Yeah I have to say I am enjoying reading your responses, as most servers are 32 players, your justifications seem to fall a little flat

CZC, no the queue system is something different, that allows players to sit and wait for an open slot on the server and then auto join that server
The Reserved slot system works exactly as stated in my initial post, you have a list of reserved playernames, once a player joins the server with that name, a random player gets kicked to make space
We aren't rolling out reserved slots on our servers at present as we do not fully want to automate the system plus it has issues that decreases server stability when it is active
