Lets hope you are of the minority that can play it flawless with no connection / game crashes. My first 3 weeks was a nightmare but after the last patch can actually get onto game servers \o/

Happy fragging. Please let us know what the patch(es) sizes are that you need to download to get the game working? Also, is it one big patch or two seperate ones? (not counting the browser client software or Origin).

started at 15:00 and it says 484mb update is downloading. Im on 384k line BTW, it should take around 6 hours. The origin thing is a bit dodgy, had issues creating an account nothing major though.

There was a day one patch of appproximately 400MB and the new patch released a few days ago of the same size. Just check then, cause you may need to download two patches? Or if you fresh install, is it only one patch?

Yeah dude, turn off all but the download. Maybe you'll get close to 40kbps and it will be shorter then.

Please check for the forum, 1 or 2 patches. WIll be cool if it is only 1.

Back to BF3, is it just me, or is the spawning on top of an enemy still screwed up? I understand spawning on a squad member it's a lucky packet, but when you spawn on a flag, even if it is being capped, you 7/10 times spawn 12cm in front of the enemy!

Is that is TDM? On Squad rush I spwned twice on top of a squady member.
 
spawning is still screwed ... anyone notice is that spawn protection happens? because i spawn a couple of times and got nailed by spawn or a tank's bullet

I wouldn't mind a 2 second "get out of dodge" death delay on spwn, but for balance you would not be able to kill someone in the first two seconds after spwn either.

the main reason i had to rage quit

spawning.....

in short, IMO, no its NOT fixed
 
I'm getting kicked more and more from servers now.it's always a match and a half before i get kicked.

Mweb still hasn't fixed the damn lag problem.
