Are you splitting your traffic? ie Route Sentry or Traffic Splitter?
 
BF3 on iBurst

Does anyone else play Battlefield 3 on iBurst?

I've recently bought the game, did the gigantic update and played it all Xmas weekend long. This was on my father-in-law's 384k Mweb ADSL though.

Get home, plug in the iBurst, no go.

Battlelog just gives me an error: "Game Disconnected: Could not join server"

The game does start up, but when you Alt-Tab to the game, it just has a black screen, with "Loading" flashing in the bottom-right hand corner. After about a minute, game crashes and Battlelog reports the error above.

Before you guys hammer on iBurst though, I've got a very good connection where I'm situated. I play Team Fortress 2 with a ping that ranges between 60 and a 100. I'm very happy with the game.

I believe something else is at play here.

I checked out all the Battlefield 3 forums with people who have the same issues and believe me, I just about broke my PC while trying to get the game to work.

The only thing I haven't tried, is putting my machine back on an ADSL connection to completely rule out whether the iBurst is an issue or not.

Anyone else having these issues on iBurst? Have you solved it? If so, how?
 
Ive been wondering about hackers on BF3 lately, the Wage servers are the only ones where you see people regularly banned in the chat window.
 
The thing that makes me laugh is those hackers make it SO obvious :D I mean at least die a few more times and people might back you. I've notice a few one-shot-one-kill people on non-hardcore servers.... very fishy.
 
People play more than one game... people that cheat in one game will cheat in others too. Best thing to do is cut off their genitals and stop them from reproducing... this way we know the world is safe and... geez I sound like a psycho.

This should be done with stupid people and woman that think vampires exist....

I've been playing on my iBurst Connection without any issues, could you test your ADSL Connectionagain and rule out that the issue is with the installation or hardware?
Also PM me directly and we can attempt to get you up and running
 
ok here is a fire starter
this Mav exploit the elevator thing , what are your taught's ? me I prefer assault so im kinda indifferent to it like to here from some of you that play recon .

It's a clever use of mechanics. Dice actually made it so that you can lift yourself up in the latest patch. Before the patch you could only lift other people.
 
I only discovered mav exploiting the other day.had fun on that rush map where you can Skydive off the cliff.set up the mav directly below the cliff and climbed on.i'm not sure what the people at the top were thinking when they saw me jump of the mav because 2 guys were staring at me for a second then a third guy came and started shooting at me so i jumped off the cliff.

I really couldn't be bothered with MAV exploiters who sniper from tops of buildings or whatever. Just don't use it to get to areas in Metro where you cannot be shot. That should be considered cheating.

Thank you, will see if I can get the game up and running on ADSL again.

Will let you know once I've tested it!
