Does anyone else play Battlefield 3 on iBurst?

I've recently bought the game, did the gigantic update and played it all Xmas weekend long. This was on my father-in-law's 384k Mweb ADSL though.

Get home, plug in the iBurst, no go.

Battlelog just gives me an error: "Game Disconnected: Could not join server"

The game does start up, but when you Alt-Tab to the game, it just has a black screen, with "Loading" flashing in the bottom-right hand corner. After about a minute, game crashes and Battlelog reports the error above.

Before you guys hammer on iBurst though, I've got a very good connection where I'm situated. I play Team Fortress 2 with a ping that ranges between 60 and a 100. I'm very happy with the game.

I believe something else is at play here.

I checked out all the Battlefield 3 forums with people who have the same issues and believe me, I just about broke my PC while trying to get the game to work.

The only thing I haven't tried, is putting my machine back on an ADSL connection to completely rule out whether the iBurst is an issue or not.

Anyone else having these issues on iBurst? Have you solved it? If so, how?
Noob suggestion.
1) Check your DNS server settings in Windows and your router (can't remeber if you can add/change that on the iBurst modem thingy, threw mine away after 6 months of no service)
2) Start -> Run, Type "Cmd" Enter
3) In the DOS box type "ipconfig /flushDNS", Enter
4) Type "ipconfig /registerdns"

Give that a whirl.

Quick question, where are the jets with two seats? I am pretty sure i've seen them somewhere, or was i dreaming?

Yeah, but that wouldn't explain why it works on an ADSL network and not an iBurst network. Also, the iBurst network does not connect via a router, so whenever I connect, I get assigned whichever DNS servers iBurst wants to give me.

I will try flushing the cache tonight though, you could be onto something there.

I am currently trying to organise my PC to be at a friends place tonight, so I can try and connect on ADSL again, see if I have the same problem.

Thanks for the suggestion though!

I don't think it will be a DNS issues though, because the servers don't have hostnames to resolve.

I am getting annoyed at the draw distance... I can't see infantry at distance and they suddenly appear as I get closer. It makes hardcore mode way more difficult in aircraft than it needs to be :\

I was playing on the Metro server a while ago and there were 3 hackers within 2hours.all of them were killing us from their spawn and not even moving.

Luckily we had admins but they just kept coming back.

What servers do you guys play on? I usually try to play on the WAGE servers and avoid the SGS servers at all costs.

If you PM me the issues you have with SGS I will gladly look into it. Feedback regarding our service is always appreciated.

We have noticed a large increase in hackers recently. They are mostly all international players. We have since buffed up our volunteer admin team and improved our banning policy in order to deal with the hackers more efficiently.

EA online d/c are the worst they just happen so randomly especially when I am really enjoying my game :(
