Fly away from the target shooting the heatseekers then turn around and fly straight to the target when he launches them and start flying downwards in his direction when the missiles are near you.

I actually learned how to dodge them by watching Skyrambo dodge my stingers the other day/week.

Still working on outrunning other jets,only method i have so far is doing dive's and pulling up before i hit the ground without letting go of the afterburner.

Haha, yeah dude, been doing that a lot lately. I don't use the flares anymore. I go for the more hit and run approach and use the EMC before anyone can get a lock, then get behind some obstacles so my EMC can cooldown.

Dude, it's quite easy to shake someone. You just have to get creative. I usually go for the Cuban eight evasive maneuver which is kinda going into a half loop, then turning around and going into another half loop in the opposite direction. You can also try breaking hard, rolling to either side with a angle and then going into a horizontal loop. Shit like that :p

I have given up flying. I havent had enough jet time and everyone is better than me now. When I say better i mean they shoot jets on the ground and stuff like that.

At first i was angry... but i realise it is actually just a normal air superiority strategy

One problem i'm having is the Javelin with Soflam,i only hear the Soflam lock-on but i don't hear when the javelin is launched.Luckily the javelin is slower then the Heatseekers so i outrun them most of the time without even knowing that they have been launched or evade them unknowingly.

That's the thing though. You have to ECM before they even lock-on, before the constant lock-on. Javelins are easier to dodge than stingers in the jet though. Just fly behind a mountain and that shit's go no chance. :D
 
Dude im always raging about this machine sky can vouch.

I can,connect to my pc at home and play games over 3g,i can use google maps, see peoples houses, i can use it as a presentation controller,i can use it to connect to our citrix servers at work, i can make music with reactable,get emails,get to forums,listen to online radio,edit excel docks, do all sorts of IP4 queries......


But i cant surf the bloody net without it crashing or associating every site as mobile.FML

Time for a article.
