I'm sorry, but the way FiB is handling this is pathetic. If you're part of a clan, you should keep your players in line when they're making the servers an unpleasant place for other people. You tell us to deal with them personally? How the fuck do we do that? Ask them nicely? Have you seen your guys' attitudes when they are asked to stop? How the hell are we supposed to 'sort it out' with them if the safety of the internet allows them to do just whatever the fuck they want without anyone being able to do anything against them?

There will always be dicks who seek to sour everyone's experience online, but if those dicks are in a clan, the clan should take care of them. Especially if that clan is the face of BF3 in SA.

So far, the only decent guy in your clan seems to be Vermaak, who told me that if it happens again I should just try and get proof and send it to him so he can deal with the okes responsible. And I bet what Vermaak says or does actually carries weight in your clan because when we started asking around for people to screenshot ZaarehS while playing he suddenly shut up.

In the first place, why do you have people in your clan who try to spoil the game for other players? Even if they're skilled and you're not responsible for how they act on public servers, is it really healthy for a clan to be associated with assholes who spoil other people's fun just because they can?

Either way, we've dedicated enough time to this discussion, it's very unlikely to go anywhere, so let's just put it behind us then. Just goes to show, it's not only the CoD servers which are full of immature brats. I also learned that just because you're the best team in your country for a certain game doesn't mean you have to behave yourself.

Edit: Also, you might want to tell your teammates that when they want to call other people 'immature' or 'kiddies' while insinuating that they themselves are mature, making 'your mommy' or incest jokes in't the best way to do it.

That's the thing. The only people here who are worked up is your clanmates. We were having a discussion about your clan and our experiences with them, and your clanmates decided to crash the party and troll and act all butthurt. The rest of us were pretty calm until you arrived, and for the most part, also after you arrived.

The only people cryfacing here are your clannies who can't stand any negative comments against themselves or their clan.

No offense, but how are you even allowed to play in the BF3 tournaments? Don't tournaments have a strictly 18+ age restriction?

Also, just because there is no automatic script running to kick players who use certain weapons does not mean you can do whatever the hell you want. These people pay good money to host their servers for us, free of charge, the least we can do is be courteous towards other players and abide by the server rules. Or is that too much to ask?
 
And that's what it all comes down to in the end. We all paid at least R300 for the game, every public server is run free of charge for the players, why try to ruin other people's experience then?

Why can't everyone just act like mature adults and play nice with others? I don't see any reason not to play nice?
 
And now to get the thread back on track, I'm looking at upgrading my PC soon, and I want to squeeze the most performance out of it for BF3. Don't care about playing on ultra, playing it stable on medium is good enough for me.

Now someone told me I wouldn't get a lot of benefit out of upgrading my dual-core to a quad, and that I should rather get a better GPU. This is bullshit, right? I'm running the game on a HD6870, which should be fine for playing on medium. I personally think it's just my CPU bottlenecking the entire system.

I upgraded from a DC to a QC, and the performance had a significant increase. I just get stutters and frameskips now and again, but that's definitely my GPU. Doing my full upgrade next month .. All goes well.

Just really need a GPU, then I think I'm proper sorted from BF3. But as things are now ... Games runs perfectly fine.
 
let me explain something to you all.

anyone can use anything on any server as they see fit untill admins or scripts step in.

as stated by EA's terms of service for ranked servers :

Server Administrators are in violation of the EA Online Terms and Conditions if they enforce server rules on ranked servers that prohibit or severely limit players from using any roles, kits, weapons, vehicles, or other features of the game while playing on their server. Examples of such rules that would violate the EA Online Terms and Conditions include:
•Running knife / pistol-only servers
•Preventing players from using certain weapons or items (such as flash bangs or C4) or enforcing a "pistol only" or "knife only" server rule

so pls, rahter leave that server and how it gets played out of any discussions or that server will well simply DISSAPEAR one day, and thats a promise.

Played the beta on a Core i3 [DC] got a Core i5 [QC] before the game came out, went from 35fps to 60fps with my GX560 :) then again it was a beta and it was very laggy and buggy. a 6870 should push High at most resolutions though unless you got a 26".

Apparently how many Cores has NOTHING to do with it.

No it wasn't "dick" it was purely informational so that some ppl can understand the fact that even you as an community has no say in how other ppl " MUST " play the game so that YOU are happy.

my players will follow EA's and thus the international ruleset set forth by the creators and distributers of this game.PERIOD.
 
So FiB will go to these servers and play their way, saying fuck you to everyone and if anyone complains, FiB will run to mommy? Wow, I thought you were cockheads before, this just cements it. Grow the fuck up kiddy.
 
So funny enough was in a public just now with PRO TEAM SA .. cant even win a public with 8 of them in same team . Here is a accurate pic of the new look of FIB for 2012 hey got it of GOOGLE when i searched FIB aka PRO team SA.
