And i thought it was just me. Anyway played another DGL last night aagain on Grand Bazaar and i embraced this LAV thing and boy was it the most boring 21mins and 20mins of my life. Oky maybe not the most Afrikaans classes at school were pretty boring but this came close.

and oh yeah, i am late for the party BUT i bitched about FiB cause i had a gripe with a player though i never mentioned names as i don't slander individuals, but if i make a connection between a ex-clanmate becoming spawn camping retard since joining another Clan, i am gonna damn well mention it.

Yip its piss easy to sit and camp in a vehicle...boring as hell.
Also as soon as we play Metro we pawn the shit out of the guys lol
Like I said the vehicles are fun, but they spawn way to often, manage to blow one up, 2 minutes later same guy is back in a tank, seriously annoying.

I reckon if they launch some more maps without vehicles, MW3 players will def start playing BF3 a lot more.
I know I would, I enjoy the graphics and I enjoy the game play I only have a gripe with the vehicles.

But vehicles is what sets it apart from CoD. If they made it more like CoD I'd stop playing it tbh.

No no I don't mean get rid of the vehicles, I mean launch some larger maps without tanks.
Jeeps and buggies are a huge amount of fun ro run around in, but the guys camping in tanks completely ruin the fun.
How fun is it sitting in a tank and shooting infantry??? Its not its retarded..I can understand the frustration of new players to the game, I can also see them playing a single round and never playing it again.

Which is exactly what happened with my mate, I bought the game for him, managed to get it working after a few hours of struggling with origin shit, 1st map we played he got killed like 8 times by a tank, he never got to the actual battle, he was already pissed at that point. We played metro and we had a huge amount of fun..then another massive map with tank campers and now he doesn't wanna play anymore.

MW3 is not like this, any player can join and instantly have fun, where as with BF3 you seriously struggle having fun, when you get "tanked" constantly.

This is not a which one is better argument, so please guys don't take it as one, I am just pointing out the flaws.

dude i have the HD6870, excellent card

def upgrade the CPU dude!!!

you'll see great FPS on medium even high, depending what is acceptable frames for you.
 
I think you can get away with a mid range card on BF3 but anything under i5-2400 range on the CPU and the game will eat your pc a bit.

I had the exact same issue back when I started on BC2. It felt tough as hell and I played a few matches, then quit and only started playing again a week or two later. The key is just perseverance.

A very good place to start out is a server running the Metro map. It's a reasonably fast-paced map and feels a lot more like CoD than any of the other maps. I stuck to the Metro servers until I got used to the basics of the gameplay in BF3, like learning the shooting mechanics, kits, roles etc.

It's also a very good map to level up on. Drop a med-pack somewhere where the action is thick and watch the points roll in. :D
 
It gets a bit much at the end of the day. Im pretty good in vehicles...Ask OG what my MBT shells does to his silly little jet.

But i get a bit bored after 3 minutes in the dam thing. I thought i would enjoy the chopper gunner part but i got flash backs from Black Ops on that stupid map where you get 300 kills in 20 mins with the chopper gunners so that also didnt tickle my fancy.

But then again im a very difficult person to entertain.

I don't mind the Jets and the choppers, haven't really had any issues with them, as they are easily taken apart when they come in low for a tank kill lol Its mainly the tanks, as it stands now I only play to have fun, I am not even bothered about stats, think it'll take me quite some time to get used to the game as it is.

Still a great game, incase you guys think im hatin on it lol
