I really don't see the big issue with this. Multiplayer games used to come with everything unlocked. These days, most of us want a challenge or something interesting/progressive to keep us entertained in the multiplayer. If someone wants to buy the kits, for whatever reason, then it's not going to effect me or my enjoyment of unlocking stuff. It's a good time to release as well, because anyone who buys the game now is going to be really far behind with the unlocks and might not have the patience to catch up.

I'm quite disappointed by the changes made in the patch. I think the core game shouldn't change this drastically from the original release. It's like BF3 2.0, and though I think some of us don't like a lot of the changes at the moment, maybe once we've adapted properly to the changes we might think of them better (or still think they're crap.)

Totalbiscuit talks about it in the below video and makes some very valid points, specifically "what happened to the days when we played online shooters because we had fun playing them and not playing them for unlocks?".

Quite correct but as soon as activision does it, its the end of the world. Love the double standards set by most gamers lol, will gladly flame another title but as soon as their title of choice does the same they'll defend it.
 
I love it. One guy was being flamed by another guy bec he flew his jet into the other guys jet.
Then the one that was flaming said he should show respect bec he is a clan member I just lolled.

Some of these clannies really think the sun shines out their asses :p (its not fbi this time around)
 
One gets all excited about these new patches; it comes out, and turns out to f*ck up the game, rather than fix (patch) it.

I personally won't be playing a lot of Battlefield anymore anyway. Just gonna finish the singleplayer campaign for now.
Game isn't really much fun when (e.g last night ... shooting a good few shots (at close range in the face, roughly 2 meters away) and still getting killed. That bs doesn't work for me.

Fcking telkom,internet keeps going on and off.more off then on.

Training>Negotiation>Training>Negotiation>Connected and just when i want to open or reload a webpage it says Disconnected and starts over from Training again.
