Not really,i noticed that a few minutes before my game would freeze the sound would start acting up.teammates firing right next to me with light machine guns and you hear nothing from them.
 
If found a fix,going to test it now.check my battle log for the thread i replied in if anyone is having crashing/freezing problems.

Yeah it seems you're not alone. The stability of the game is questionable. I had a friend who couldn't get his game to run after installation, because it'd give an error saying the release date hasn't occurred yet or some bollocks. Had to use a proxy server to get that first-time access to work.
 
So i'm going to test one last fix and that's by disabling the on board audio in the bios.if that doesn't work i'll just take it to a professional sometime this year to fix it.
 
Sigh,that didn't fix it either.

It's like my PC and BF3 were happily married and now suddenly got divorced for no reason.

I can't figure out why it's just freezing for no reason,Passmark Burnitin test should be doen downloading in a few.

Yip...I know the feeling.
I've now uninstalled it, I've spent days trying to figure out whats wrong and after exhausting every possible solution..I give up.

lol,guess i'll devote some time to 3d modeling a bit and skyrim.

I did the stress test and it came back clean with no problems.


I wish there was a program that can show me the inner workings of an application so i can figure out exactly what is wrong.


I'll leave it installed until i can find a solution

On a good note i managed to fix my blue screen of death problem while trying to fix BF3's freezing.

I'm still not going to give up,i will have this problem fixed by tommorow.I should probably make a thread listing all the current fixes for BF3 crashes and freezes.

So far it seems that on various hardware and gaming forums people are telling me that it's a punkbuster problem.
 
having a new problem,after uninstall punkbuster and reinstalling it i get kicked from servers because PB isn't running even though it says it's fully updated.
 
Well fixed that easily but now my game freezes/locks up not even a minute into the game.this is def a punkbuster problem.going to try playing on a punkbuster disabled server.
