Battlefield 4 Beta Feedback

The lag is pretty much what is irritating people.
But play domination, which is only 32 ppl, which makes it less laggy.
We noticed that as soon as 40 people joined a server, it went crazy unbearable laggy.
But yeah obliteration is a funky mix of gameplay.

There are also apparently patches ready for release day to fix frame stutter and server lag

I think they should release those patches now already but cool yeah i have only playing maps with 64 people played with saint_dee last night and it was still bearable for me but he was bad !

In there you can see that bugs could be fixed already, but then again, why would they fix it in Beta.
Lets just hope that the few small bugs that are being notice are actually fixed, and not with 5GB patches just to fix each one.

thanks for the link my whole thign is i have always been a COD boy and yes i am enjoying this beta but the lag is ruinign the enjoyment a bit so much as to say im not going to run and straight away make the switch

I've never had issues with lag in Battlefield 3 so i figure the lag issues will be sorted out by the time 4 is released. Count yourself lucky though, I've played once and then every time after I get stuck at the loading screen.

Well, goin from COD to BF, is a big move i would say. But yeah, lag will hopefully be sorted when the servers are patched etc. SA needs better resources for this, as playing overseas is great with a higher ping.

BF3 64player servers can get laggy, especially if admins are logged into procon, or their ping kicker isnt active. 20 high pingers make things difficult.
For the loading screen issue, repair install, and install the latest beta drivers for either nvidia or amd. Worked for me.

Controls return to default with every patch.

Still. I'm done with it. Game is clearly designed for a rig 4x greater than mine.

That means its time for an upgrade. I had to do the same, luckily just gpu though.

Upgrade time is too far out of my reach than I am happy with.
Instead of constantly complaining and bickering, I'll simply not play these games until my PC is up to standard with most upcoming releases.
 
Hey guys, I want to pre order bf4. Just wondering where the best place to pre order bf4 from is? Best pre order bonus stuff or is it all the same?
 
Cheapest would be Origin itself, I think its R408 there but then your stuck having to DL the entire game come launch day.
I am expecting the game to launch at about 20GB...so quite a big download. Alternatively you could try Kalahari.com.

I did the repair install after deleting some files that was advised to do, made no difference. But I did sort it out the issue in the end. I came across a forum post with someone having the same issue, and they just sat it out. Basically I just left it loading for ages and after a while I got into the game. The issue now seems to have disappeared and it loads and enters the game after a normal amount of time.
 
So, installed the beta nvidia drivers for BF4, then proceeded to complain about the average FPS (60-70). Turns out installing the drivers disabled SLI.

Whoops.

Anyway, will still try the beta on Windows 8 this weekend, just to compare performance.

When I enable SLI, the game crashes as soon as it starts. It works okay without SLI, but I'm sure it could perform a lot better.
