Had a look at the specs, was shocked to see 4GB RAM being the minimum. My laptop is gna scrape through this game (I see just above 30fps on low graphics )

Yeah. My card doesn't support DX-11 , which is why I can't play Crysis 3.

so its 4 gigs of ram minimum but windows vista 32bit only sees about 3.25 afaik ! so shouldnt it be 3 gigs minimum "whistling:

Should be able to tun it on High-Ultra @ around 60fps.

Will prob run it on medium and cap it on 60fps so the fps doesn't jump around too much in action areas.

I will def be able to max the game though.

Those recommended settings will only get you close to medium-high settings. If you want Ultra with a lot of eye candy, you'll need 2x7970's or 2x GTX770 cards and even then that will only be good for 1920x1080. Anything higher and you'll start moving into to tri fire and tri sli.

1 thing I am really looking forward to is the cpu core/thread usage of BF4. If all goes well the game will actually utilize 8 cores/threads so the FX8320/50 should be absolutely fantastic.

Ram wise I would say 8GB minimum especially if you are running a SSD.

Oh and new AMD cards are around the corner

I'm expecting the same. Recommending a six-core next to a Intel quad-core, let alone no mention of the FX-8320/FX-8350 may mean that those processors perform in a tier higher than the recommended specs. I hope some of the reviewers don't be dickish fools and not show what the CPU usage is in Task Manager.
