Battlefield Bad Company 2 - 400% bigger than expected

The game is awesome, no doubt. But I heard the multiplayer at the moment is a bit of a high ping balls up. They should fix it at least, being a big company.
 
...gonna buy it then. Btw anyone know why this game is R500+ and not R600+ like most new releases?
I'm not complaining tho:D
 
Way better than MW2, a few niggles but that is not surprising although a little silly as they had BETA's... but anyways.

EA have chosen not to be completely greed..
 
/Off topic: I just read over on the PS3za forums that EA are gonna start selling X360 games for cheaper than PS3 games. E.g. Skate 3 will be R499 on X360 and R599 on PS3. Apparently this is a result of X360 sales suffering in SA, although I don't think that's the (only) reason ...

/On topic: Battlefield Bad Company 2 is pure AWESOMENESS!!! :D Way better and much more fun than MW2 IMHO.
 
My first thoughts on this game is that it is another typical EA release :( Bearing in mind that I've been blaying Battlefield online since the release of BF2. The game was release without even being close to ready. Day 1 patch as with most of EA's releases and there are still tons of bugs. The hit detection is rather pathetic and the entire environment is not destructible as claimed. EA and DICE couldn't even get the server browser and friends lists to work properly.

In my humble opinion MW2 is a far more polished game than BC2. Even though I am a huge fan of the Battlefield franchise I really think EA and DICE have let their loyal customers down with this release. Anyone who's played BF2 since it's release will tell you that even after numerous massive patches over almost five years, the game is still buggy as hell. Unfortunately I see the same future for BC2 :(
 
Well what you say may be true. And I can under stand it not being a 100% destructible but my god I am having a blast.
 
Agreed, the game has a lot of flaws, but it's a HECK of a lot better than Modern Warfare :) Huge open maps for the WIN!

Really? Is this on PC though? On PS3 hit detection is non existent (MW2) when there are a few players with slower lines in the game. MAG on PS3 has the best hit detection I've ever seen, 256 players and all.

Yeah, for the PC. It's the only real problem I have with the game other than latency, not enough servers, friends list not working, constant downtimes, etc etc. :rolleyes:
