Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Multiplayer

6000+ right? yeah was a awesome cpu. loved mine to bits. now it soldiers on in my dad's pc.

Nah, not even that fast. I overclocked to 2.9Ghz and things are a little better. At least until I upgrade the CPU. Has anyone noticed that after exiting BC2 that it's process still hangs around, eating up over 300mb of memory?
 
I've gotta say this game can be quite frustrating. Spending most of your time waiting to repsawn is no fun at all. It's difficult to learn the game mechanics when you're not doing much playing. I'm being spotted and shot from impossible to see locations by guns that I can't register hits with at medium range. *sigh*
 
Aah my 6000+ is struggling along with BFBC2, and it's the main reason I haven't been playing it much lately. Gonna need an upgrade soon...

It happens :/ But eventually, as with every game, you get the hang of it and then you become the guy hunting down the noobs :D

I'm beginning to get the hang of it now. Just Two irritations. One is that my medic weapons loadout does not save and two is losing connection with the EA servers in the middle of a game.
 
Man I've gotta say, once you get the shock pads the medic really comes into it's own. It's actually quite a frustrating class to play initially. Also I reserve a special hate for snipers. :)
 
I usually game on the SGS servers. (games.saix.net) but if the WA servers can finally see some LIFE I'll happily play on them because my latency to those servers are actually better. I don't know why the latency to the SGS servers are all 200+ ms. It's like playing on international servers. It's stupid.
