Battlefield Bad Company 2 - Vietnam

Hi

Please excuse me if this is the wrong section, or is answered elsewhere, but I could not find it.

Do the iGame servers run the Vietnam DLC to Bad Company 2? Do I need it in order to connect to the servers? According to Gametracker iGame servers receive most traffic so I figured it would be best to ask around here.

Steam has an incredible sale on both the game and the DLC, so I'm thinking of buying both. I don't want to waste money though if the servers don't use the DLC, so any advice would be appreciated.

We use to host 2 Vietnam servers.But traffic was low and the popularity of the game died out within a few weeks.Some still play it but nothing like normal BC2.

We put the two Vietnam servers in stasis and in their place we hosted the iGame Millennium 1000 Ticket server.
 
Awesome, thanks for your response! Yes I saw that 1000 Ticket server. That server also only runs normal BC2?

Then I will most likely just buy the original game :)
 
It's sad that no one plays Vietnam :( I played it for about 1 week before my phone cables were stolen - yet to be replaced >:[ It was fun while it lasted...
 
You won't go wrong with the original game.A lot of people still play it.

Cable theft is terrible and what's worse is that the more often it happens the more people eventully suffer from internetlessness
 
bfbc2 is still alive and kicking ... couldn't believe the amount of people still jamming it ... pity all the homefront and black ops screwed up my aim for bfbc2, totally getting my ass handed to me :'(

BC2 is one of the greatest games, its weird in that it "grows" on you the more you play and then you realise how non 1 dimensional this game is when compared to COD, so many more options when it comes to this game, its brilliant, yet this is only the start for DICE, BF3 hold major promise.....

Oh yes dude, true that.

The other night I played with one of those 4 seater jeeps for the first time and I totally got addicted to it. Roadkilling and driving around the whole map, for the whole game. One of my clanmates was sitting in the car with me shooting the grenade launcher. We caused quite a disturbance in that thing :P. It was almost as fun as flying a chopper! But anyway, my point is there are STILL thing to discover for me, even though I have played this game for more than a year.

Damn awesome game. And BF3 is going to be the best thing we've seen in PC gaming to this day. I just know it!

It will be good! Shame, this guys trust has been badly broken with once well known PC Devs :D

Its clear that DICE are making it for the PC in mind, new gen tec etc

that being said

if there was a new gen console....it may end up being a diff story....

easy ... you see someone camping in the building dont bother running into the building to kill him just use a rocket launcher :D

/slams a console with a slegdehammer

Consoles won't hold this bad boy back like it did with every other game. BF3 is a COD and console killer! :p Hopefully it literally kills the consoles it gets played on, muwahahahaha :D

@Tempy: Interested in joining a BF3 flight school? :D Hahahaha
 
I was wondering for the xbox version if that 1.6 gb file update that u get with the limited edition was Vietnam or just an update of some kind...
