So tell me soldier?
BubbleBlower sickness? What the hell is that you may ask, well let me enlighten you...
It's war time and your running around with a murderous feeling in your soul, guns polished, ammo checked and explosives at the ready. All you need now is the face of an infidel so you can shoot 'em up! You finally meet, face to face, without flinching you squeeze, not pull, squeeze the trigger and unload your wrath upon the dirty scum. You see the hit marker register the hits, he's body is riddled with bullets and you see blood spatter....just as you think: 'He's dead - hope it hurts!' He suddenly shoots back and it's YOU that dies in an instant. Huh!? What? But HOW you may ask? Immediately you think the dreaded thought...hax! He / she (yes we have gals playing this yummy war game also these days) must be hacking... But no son, what you're experiencing is known in these here parts as #BubbleBlower Sickness. And it sux BIG TIME!
It's as if your weapon of choice is shooting bubbles and you're doing no real damage at all! But why is that? What's the cause? Is it my on, 'the technical edge' crappy system? Should I add more ram, a faster GPU, or maybe an SSD? None of that will help unfortunately...the only issue that's causing this dreaded disease is poor broadband quality. If your Battlefield client is speaking to the server, and telling the server that you shot first, but your broadband upload is slow, plus it's losing packets along the way, then the dastardly enemy player will just not die and you will lose every single face-to-face battle.
In short, before you scream hax, make sure your upload speed is what it should be. Do a test at www.speedtest.net and also check for packet loss. Take this up with your ISP, ask them to reset your port also, it will definitely improve your online war career. Playing BF4 is like Formula 1 racing, every millisecond counts! There's a lot of amazing talented BF4 players in South Africa and they can be very difficult to kill.
Keep on fighting and I'll c U on the Battlefield #Hooah !
