Best broadband suburbs in SA

I get about 8 - 9mb, close to somersetwest though.

Some exchanged are already VDSL enabled and should be way more than nr1 on that list
 
Am I the only one seriously surprised that Pretoria tops the list?

Also cant believe how low Sandton and Rivonia are on the list, would have thought with all the businesses there they would be right up at the top!

My thought exactly, I'm also surprised that Cape Town isn't higher on that list.
 
Never had major problems with my line in Somerset West, but for fark steaks, been having alot of issues lately. Sync loss every 2 seconds. That's since Hellkom "upgraded" my line to 10mbps again.
 
I get why large parts of JHB has good bandwidth, it's because Telkom doesn't have "infrastructure" everywhere so a select few has lots of bandwidth to share.
 
I'm not surprised where Durban is on the list because the speed sucks here, but when was it downgraded to a suburb? 😁
