Best Gaming Headset - preferably Wireless

ok, i switched off my brain and went with the logically choice due to price and sound quality, i ordered the Corsairs :)

thanks for the help guys :)

Good choice and enjoy. As for comfort, I'm studying for exams at the campus library and brought my notebook so I could use them. Since monday I've worn them for close to 8 hours non-stop since sunday.
My previous skull candy ear buds seem like medieval torture after similar use compared to this.

Do report back when you tested them. I also want to replace my Roccat kave with a wireless headset and the 2000 is currently at the top of my list.

sure, will do, i should be getting them this afternoon, damn you long weekend lol

Well not to sound like a sour grape i have the sirious the kaves and the G930s ,

ID rate tem

Roccat kaves
G930 then Corsair

The G930 tips the Roccat in sound quality but not volume.

But if im not using my kave I am using my G930s.

Well i cant use my Corsairs as i gave them to a clan mate to use till he can buy his own headset .

ok, i used these for a few hours last night, overall i like them, much better than what i had, but that's not saying much cause what i had was ok, but definitely not designed for long gaming sessions.

below is what i would give out of 10 in my criterias:

Sound Quality - 8
Comfort - 8
Weight - 7
ease of use - 7
Battery life - unknown, i haven't used it enough to comment

Sound Quality - i like them, very nice compared to my last headset, i can't say they are better than any others due to me not having tested any others lol

Comfort - very comfortable, the fit right over my big ears which helps block out surrounding noise and doesn't press on my ears like my last headset did which started to hurt after a few hours. My only gripe is that the material used on the foam does make your head a bit warm after a while, but that's no biggie :)

Weight - definitely heavier than my last headset, but that is too be expected, my neck will adjust ;)

ease of use - initially it was easy, just plug and play, but that was when i used the dongle stright from one of my usb ports, but when i tried using my extender with the dongle i could not hear anything, even when i used different usb ports so i had to go back to using the dongle striaght from a usb port which is no train smash since i used to do that, i will test some more tonight and see if it was my fault.

so in the end, like i said, i like them and i'm happy with my choice, for the price compared to other wireless headsets, these are awesome :)

Good to hear, never would say heavy but wired doesn't need batteries. Just play with the program to get the sound right, mines normally set to FPS settings.
