Logitech G400s Gaming Mouse (Optical) - Kalahari

Depending on your voucher, it could go for as little as R212.

I am using this mouse. Most comfortable mouse I've used so far. It's brilliant; great tracking and super smooth (used in conjunction with my Steelseries 4HD mousepad).

Only mouse I ever recommend to anyone is the Razer Naga (not Hex). But seeing as it's a fair bit above your price range, I wont.

...Ahhh heck, I will. Get a Naga! Best mouse EVAAAAAAAR!

+1 on this too. Maybe I am bit late to the party now though...

I have a G400s and it's great, I love it. It's excellent value for money.

If you're strapped for cash, the G400S is definitely much more value than the R300-odd you'll be paying for it. I'd also recommend the Steelseries Sensei RAW, sometimes you find it for well under R350, it is ambidextrous and it has a very good optical sensor.

I have to disagree there. Both myself and one of my devs have RAWs. He has a COD BLOPS version and I have a Guild Wars 2 version. The rubberising on both have started wearing off and mine's left click is miss- and double-firing too often for comfort.

And guess how long I've had my RAW? Going on 9 months now... I will never buy another Steelseries product. I'm really disappointed. Next up is a Corsair mouse, specifically the M95.

Get the g400s. If you like big comfortable mice. I have one for over a year and it's great.
Went through many fancy laser and razer mice
