Best ISP for Xbox One online gaming

Hi

I'm currently struggling to decide on an ISP mainly for gaming online and streaming videos.

I mostly play FIFA online. I've read some people have issues with Afrihost on Xbox Live. Any other suggestions?

Thanks

Vox and WebAfrica also rated well in the recent MyBB poll, so you can perhaps consider them as well. I'm with CrystalWeb and I have had no issues, however I haven't gamed online with my Xbox, but I can't see how it will differ from PC to Xbox.

I've found Webafrica to be the best for my online Xbox gaming (FIFA and Halo), as well as lots of streaming (Netflix primarily). Was previously with Afrihost and had endless problems (frequent packet loss causing me to get kicked out of games, especially in FIFA). Also tried VOX for a while, but had latency issues with their account. So my vote would be for Webafrica.

Shot everyone for the input. I was thinking either CrystalWeb or Web Africa.

I was getting sick and tired of getting disconnected on FIFA the whole time and being relegated to lower divisions😡

Web Africa it is then😁

Oh yes, would a 4Mbps line be suffice for me to play and my wife streaming at the same time? I'm under the impression that it would be better to use an Ethernet cable on my Xbox then going wifi?

Hi my man, I went for fixed wireless internet consisting of a dish connected to a receiving tower due to the fact that Telkom didn't provide ports in my area which is needed for an ADSL line. Although I'm paying R899pm/5mbs uncapped (no throttling or soft/hard capping), the contention ratio (internet traffic) is 1:20 which is not even comparable to ADSL. This results in consistent speeds which results in mostly smooth streaming and hardly any lagging with online gaming. Just ensure u have a direct cable connection form ure console to ure rooter.

Yes, 4mbs is more than enough, even 2mbs would've been sufficient but 4 is bette. Yes it's also highly advisable to connect your console directly to ure router via cable instead of WiFi, which ensures that you don't have game lagging.

Okay shot. Thanks man. Are you with Sonic Wireless? If so, how is their service? The R899 for 5Mbps sounds very familiar.
