Best Joystick?

Well i have never played with a JoyStick before but with BF4 around the corner i thought i would buy myself one.

Any recommendations on what brand to get?

When BF3 came out i pulled the old Logitech Extreme out and tried flying the copters etc with it. I honestly felt i hovered and flew better with the mouse / keyboard combo. But this one aint too bad for what you pay, Battlefield Vietnam i had a blast with it.

Another Logitech X3DPro user and lover here. Have owned 2 of them.
The joystick is incredible. Its got the one feature you really need, twist handle.

The issue with the BF3 flying mechanics is that it catered far too much for console and hence guys with KB+mouse had a MASSIVE advantage over joystick users. Looking forward to BF4 hopefully changing this a little ala BF2 style where a decent flight stick helped.
 
With helis I much prefer mouse + keyboard. I used to use the X3DPro when I initially started flying but now, with the DPI switch on my mouse, I get in a jet and up the DPI and can fly fine.
 
For now it seems the x3d is the best option.

For some reason i always have problems with comfort when using Cyborg gear,the R.A.T mouse usually left a blue mark on my hand because the weight fastener would push against it.
