Best online MMO FPS style games

Yesterday I became the proud owner of a 1mb line! Hellz yeah I thought, now it's time to play some online games...

So I want to play some online first person shooters, ones that South Africans use a lot...

And then maybe even some racing games... could be of any kind.

SO share away! Tell me which ones you love playing?

I realise its not a MMO but only the title calls for a MMO the content asks for "to play some online first person shooters, ones that South Africans use a lot"

You can try Global Agenda if you fancy a MMO shooter.
 
I also asked for some free ones... I'm poor at the moment seeing as I've spent too much cash on certain... 'items' (new computer) also I'll try global agenda out thanks. And I'll start saving for bc2... or wait for bf3.

Lets make it any Online FPS game that's free out there... one that I'll enjoy.

Tonight I'm trying out Battlefield play4free...

Quake Live.

The SA Playerbase has however declined very badly, so its your call.
Still a friggin awesome even if you never use the MP part.

But liek someone else said - MMO portion apart - get Bad Company 2. Seriously awesome.
 
Wow battlefield play4free really sucks! BADLY... In any case I think I'm just going to wait for Battlefield 3...
 
I used ti jam a lot of AA2.8 but it has declined a lot in SA and AA3 never picked up. Pity as AA2.8 was better than most pay-to-play games, but it is old now and needs some proper updating.
 
Yeah we'll see how aa3 will do. Also all points bulliten is in closed beta at the moment. Thanks to another failed attempt. In any case that game was supposed to be a really cool game... that failed.
 
I would love to play Blackops COD, but got other things to spend money on at the moment

I agree with you hideinlight... It's really unfair how slow our internet is compared to other countries. And now electricity went up... And i heard phonelines might also go up again... :(
 
I feel the same way.. I use to be a huge FPS games.. I enjoyed COD 4, local servers helped a lot!! but even with the so called local server for MW2 and BLOPS, I could never have a decent game.. my latency would jump from 70-80 to over 400 as soon as I would run into some1 lag.. and then come back and watch ur reply of how u just stood there and let him run round you 3 times before knifing u...

I hung my guns up along time ago for FPS.. one day if I get a line speed increase maybe I will have beta luck... So now all I play at the moment is Dota (Warcraft 3) and Aion.. so far so good :-)
 
Isnt the new game Brink a FPS MMo?
Maybe wait for that and give it a go.
But brink got some shite reviews! So i dunno
 
Well Brink just got that patch released that fixes a couple of problems. And It is a fun game... I've played it a bit and it brings some new things into the game... but that's where it ends...

Hey axon... I feel like I have been living under a rock!! I just googled it now to see what it is all about and I have to be honest I have never heard of it! I have only seen and heard of Heroes of Newerth, which is also based on dota. Otherwise how does LoL work?? is it a separate game like HoN or does it run through another game like Dota??
