Best priced graphics cards in SA

If those are budget friendly then I am very glad I have been on console for the last 5 years.

The cheapest one is R3,354.00 (Club3D) and that is without the rest of the PC.

Should be renamed Best Graphics Cards Prices in South Africa since those arent the cheapest :D

But there is also nothing budget about a 670 card either. There are some great prices in the 500 series if you can still find stock. If you want budget you can get a 580 at prices similar to the 670 so check it out before you blow your dough. Also check benchmarks also to see what your really getting.

Well if you consider how much say the 6870 VaporX costs, coming in at roughly R3800 incl vat then yes I'd say those are the better priced cards and good for the pocket. :)

I wonder now, does a guy sell his 6870 and upgrade to a 7870? or does he just buy another 6870 for x fire?

On that note guys. Which would be better for a Linux system? Ati or Nvidia? Is there anyone using an Ati gfx card on Ubuntu? Considering getting myself an MSI ATi Radeon R6570 (R719) for use with dual screen on Ubuntu, dual boot Win7 for mid-range games. Or should I rather for with a GT620 or something?

Try google "2nd hand 6870 card" and see where it leads you. Most likely the best way to find where they actually sell 2nd hand GPUs
