Right off the bat with the launcher screen.

Mafia 2: They took authentic 40s & 50s music and played it on the radio while you drove in cars, with a selection of radio stations - but the fact that they used real hits from those days just made it all the more amazing for me, despite the fact that it's not a game-engineered score.

Yeah almost any gamer worth his salt remember Hell's March. There's also some nice music from Unreal Tournament 1. And I absolutely love the atmospheric music in S.T.A.L.K.E.R Shadow Of Chernobyl.

I like a lot of mellow music while playing games.
My favourite game music composer is definitely Kai Rosenkranz. He worked on Gothic series and Risen with Piranah Bytes.
Loved the music to Witcher 1 and 2.
Others worth mentioning are probably Titan Quest and Red Alert 3.

Can't believe nobody mentioned the only game soundtrack to ever win a Grammy: Civ 4. Hell it even features a South African choir (Soweto Gospel).

I must admit. The Crysis 2 soundtrack is really good. you cant beat Mr Hans Zimmer
