Best. Trailer. Ever!

damn, trailer of trailer. But I am not backing the game. I'm not a fan of these pixelated games. If I want to play that, I'll install an older game I love, which I do quite frequently. In fact (in fact...sound like a cabinet minister "In fackt, I didnt not steal the moneys forr Chicken leeeken!") I've installed Return to Castle Wolfenstein, after my bout with the last game, damn awesome game. There is a 1920 x 1080 res patch, so you dont have to fool around with the cfg files to set it up.

Hahaha! That was EXCELLENT!

I remember the days when people thought computer games were the devil...
Its a cool marketing strategy, but like Virtual, im not going to back something that's purposefully going for a pixelated look...

hehe, yeah, the video is brilliant, but I think these guys made a mistake with their Kickstarter pricing model. $25 is way too high a starting level

Screw that, I'm installing Doom tonight and will be enjoying pixelated goodness.

A few years ago I came across two sets of the original install disks for Doom while I was clearing out some old boxes. I wonder if I could find them again, or if they would still even work. Or if I could find a floppy drive somewhere....

Why bother with that when you can just play it within you browser here :D

To be all hardcore and stuff...

But even if I could find the disks, which I probably chucked out, and I could find a drive, I seriously doubt that the disks would still be good after 20 years or so

I still have DOS 6.0 stiffy's, as well as floppy's for some games :D
unfortunately the stiffy drive i have lying around is clearly broken and stuffs up any disk that goes near it hehe...

And is playing doom 1 on a browser without mouse NOT hardcore? Dunno if you clicked the link, you can also play Heretic and Hexen!

LOL, maybe I should have said retro or something. But ya, the browser versions are the same thing really, and you don't have to bother with DOS emulators. I had a go at Wolfenstein 3D on a browser version a while ago, that brought back some memories.
