What game have you finished and the ending left you in awe? And also what game have you finished and the ending sucked so much that you couldn't believe that you spent time on it?
 
MK vs DC - ending sucked whether you play on MK side or DC side...
and COD3 - i thought it would end with a big bang and it didnt, the last stage was one of the easiest by far
 
Quake 1's ending. After battling through all the episodes, you are just greeted by text on the screen.

Congratulations.
 
Best Ending: Call of duty 4...Love shooting that russian pig in the back
Worst Ending: Metal gear solid 3

Yeah that is irritating. I can kinda understand it though. Back then the tech wasn't all that amazing so you can almost forgive some of it. But DS? Really?

Its one of the best endings to any game, Big Boss killing the Boss, his mentor is as epic as you get.

Best Ending: It's divided between Metal Gear Solid 4 and Shadow of the Colusses.
Worst Ending: Gears of War 2 (a crappy build up to the 3rd one final battle sucked so much balle)
 
Well i'll agree on the Gears of war2 ending. I clocked it again last night and the ending sux cat ass, still a brilliant game though!!
 
The best ending I can think of is Planescape: Torment. "What can change the nature of a man?" To this day it still evokes sadness when I think about it.

Worst ending... Half-Life 2?
 
Best Ending: Star Wars: Knights of the old republic I :D

Worst Ending: Star Wars: Knights of the old republic II. Most orsm game ever and then they rushed the dev's to cut it short :mad:

Best ending: Silent Hill 2. Very emotional, well acted and just superb.
And I see The Extremest mentioned Planescape: Torment. That had a great ending as well.

Worst ending: Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance on the PS2. It was basically: To be continued.
 
The ending of MGS4 was very well done but it dragged on for bloody ages.

(I remember this clearly as I need a bathroom break and decided to hold it until the very end. Big mistake.)
