Bethesda Softworks registers Fallout 4 trademark

Can't wait, hope it doesn't run on that old engine.

If it looks anything like Skyrim then it's a sure buy for me.

I'm really not that impressed with the graphics in Skyrim. I'm not sure why people make such a fuss over it.

Sometimes i wonder about you E. -- No not in that way

But i'm a big Bethesda fanboy :) so i will probably get the game and waste hundreds of hours of my life in it.

Even I will admit on PC with full mods & HD textures, it looks very impressive taken it's scale and world size/depth

I agree. Granted it's awesome with the right mods, but stock it's bleh.

@DCWarhound. It will most definitely run on a modified version of the Creation (Skyrim) engine.

Sorry,i meant 'plays' like Skyrim.

The graphics in Skyrim can be overhauled as mentioned.

@Maplassie

As long as it's heavily modified.

Awww yeEEEesss!

Would be amazing if they had fallout 3 type story with NV game play. If you played Fallout 3 from start to finish, you would understand dem feels :p
Throw in destructible environments, and they'll have a sucker for pre order!

@ Eugene
Do not be too concerned about graphics, Bethesda games are mostly moddable.
Would be sweet if they have creation kit support like in skyrim. :D

Great news! But as per normal, if true, now the loooooooooooooooong wait! But yeah, atleast we'll have Wasteland 2. Just wonder if it'll still be this year.

Vanilla Skyrim looks and plays like junk. I feel sorry for people playing on the console version. Granted, it's a bit of work to get it up to scratch on Pc, but totally worth it.

If Fallout 4 remains modabble (no reason to believe it won't) then it should be just as much fun as the latest Bethesda games.

I agree with all of your statements that Skyrim vanilla is a bit bland. Still, I suck about 50+ hours into the console version of the game and still go back from time to time to give it a bash. But Skyrim on PC with all the mods are beyond awesome. And if I'm not mistaken, all Bethesda games has been very modder friendly.

Oh, them's fighting words! I'll be first to admit the massive improvements made by the mods, but to say that is a bit too much, IMO.

I'm pretty sure the internet will mutiny if it's not. Can't remember the last Bethesda Softworks game that wasn't well moddable.

I hope they let Obsidian do it, New Vegas was amazing.

You and me both dude. Bethesda Softworks should stay away from Fallout and let Obsidian do it. Most of the creators of the original Fallout games are at Obsidian afterall.
