BF3 Co-op connectivity issues

Hey team,

My Bf3 is running perfectly in SP and MP mode, but when I attempt to host or join a co-op match it won't work.

Each time a game is hosted/joined the game launches via battlelog and shows the loading screen for about 10 seconds and then freezes as soon as it says "saving..." and crashes to desktop.

Whenever someone hosts, the one who is invited to the game sees an error message stating "user terminated connection".

I've tried googling it and everyone says Avast causes it and should be disabled. Unfortunately this doesn't help the slightest. I've tried it with more than one mate, so it's definitely an issue on my side.

All patches/drivers/etc. are up to date and running on an i5 2500K, 8GB corsair vengeance ram, GTX560 top gfx card.

Any ideas?

Join the club. Something broke it in the beginning still. I have given up trying to co-op with my friends. :/ It works for some people still. Best way to try and finish the co-op missions is to join public matchmaking.

Thats the only way I can co-op :-/

Hey Voicy what i noticed is that its also iSP related

sometimes i send an invite my friend wont get it if we both using telkom, i switch to an IS based account and he does the same and it works...it leads me to believe it def has something to do with ports.....

whats your ISP and your friends ISP?

I'm with WA, they're with Afrihost / Mweb.

If any of you would like to give it a go, my BF3 name is VoicyZA

hey guys, i don't know if this would help but i know when playing MW2 (i know i know :S) that when you are playing a game that is hosted by another player, you need to make sure your router has uPNP enabled (i think that's what it's called).

without it i think it makes peer to peer connections extremely problematic

Yup it was working for a bit then one day it also just crashed about 20 seconds into the map, from then on, no more luck...
