BF3 Promotes Animal Cruelty...Really?

No-one complained about this

I don't think there is a dierct relationship between animal abuse and killing animals on games.lol! I dig animals, yet find no problem driving over cows ;)

Wait what crabs being thrown where?

Laughed my ass off just now. One of the guys working in my office said he found a dove that flew into the sliding door at his home and he left it to the cat to finish the job cause he couldnt look it in its eyes.

Ugh... MORE of this crap?!

So it's fine to kill animals in movies, but not in games? (Mission Impossible 1 as one example)

The thing I just don't get is that it's a goddamned sewer rat. If the game had you killing dogs, or cats, or even just a domesticated rat, I might still understand it to some extent, but who the fuck cares about a common street-rat? Hell, I was in Mauritius two years ago, an they have sugarcane rats the size of a rugbyball. If the hotel staff saw them they'd simply beat them to death with whatever they had on hand. Not only that, but how many of us have set traps for rats or mice in our homes? Rats are a plague all over the world.

There's really no point in crying because someone kills one in a videogame, when it happens on a daily basis all over the world.

I haven't played SP in BF3, but what is this about?

it says "possibly" so do you HAVE to, or CAN it be done?

because if it CAN, then the person who would want to, is already in the "animal abuser" mind set. :)

Ever heard of bubonic plague?

There's a damn good reason for exterminating vermin like sewer rats. Every last one of them.

The people who think that's animal abuse can take themselves off to a little community isolated from the rest of us where they can live with ~30% mortality due to vermin born diseases.

^^^

hehehe, meant obviously in the game :)

wanted to know if it is like a part of a mission or something that you HAVE to kill the thing, or was it figured out by "peeking" around to see what a person can interact with.

Didn't see much option at the time myself, the damn thing was trying to eat my finger, so I figured one good turn deserved another :p
