Big Bad Company 2 Patch lands tomorrow

I am also on a 384 line. Right here my plan of action, I've been told it's possible to register my game in steam and run it from there, still need to get the finer details but I don't see any other options.

The 384k line could be the problem.

But I don't know why DICE doesn't just release a stand alone file for the patch.

I tried it,if u run it from there it still throws the updater,and it still gives the problem
 
one oke suggested to keep the updater running if the error pops up, i'll try it and let you guys know
 
ok so, yes it still downloads. and the progress bar moves.

weird...

will see if it finishes hey
 
For the old patch mine the same error,I just restarted it at midnight and the patch worked,tried it with this 1 but it doesnt work,
so now lets just hopes Tank's download finishes :)

I notice this aswell and left my running, will see when I get home, thought I was just wasting my time.. maybe I am lucky :)

With the old patch I could knife people threw walls :O
(if some of their body parts stick thru)
That was fun if a squad was hiding in a building and they see 1 of the members get knifed :P

Man I miss that game..
