Big Starcraft 2 Patch

All went smoothly for me, currently customizing my hotkeys now :D!

Chat channels.... FINALLY!! We need to start an SA channel. ^_^

I hate Blizzard's ability to patch. None of the maps will download so I can't play any SCII tonight, but undoubtedly they'll have it fixed in a day or two. Anyways...

Why buff Protoss? I really can't figure this out. They weren't in need of a buff. And this is huge, dirt cheap Observers, Void Rays doing 20% (and 20% is an insane jump) more to Massive, which basically makes Toss' AA the best in the game considering the fact that it takes absolutely no time to build Phoenixes anymore. So Carriers, Colossus, Battlecruisers and Broodlords are now the easiest things for Toss to counter, and early game Phoenixes for harassment versus Zerg is gonna be insane.

BUT THAT'S JUST ME. I'd like to see them release a more interesting map pool instead of buffing already strong races.

Oh and I kind of lol'd at this:

"Protoss structures can no longer be powered without a power source if constructed while powered by a Warp Prism under the effects of Neural Parasite." Most specific bug fix ever :P

I think i'll just want till it get sorted by Blizzard, DLing a 150mb cache file from some oke just doesn't seem kosher for me, plus, the custom maps i play get updates almost every other day so this Cache file would be useless in 2 days anyways :(

there is another solution you know,according to bliz they blocked some IP's from certain areas of their database and they are working on the problem.most people solved it by either changing their IP till the found the right one or using hotspot shield does pretty much the same thing.

Man, this pisses me off. My motherboard died a month ago, bought a whole new PC this week, couldn't wait to get back into playing some SC2... and then this shit.
"Not available while downloading"
"Not available while joining a lobby"

I had no problems downloading the new patch though. Just started the fresh SC2 install before going to bed, woke up and it was patched and ready to roll.

But now I have to use this dodgy third party hotspot thing just to get into multiplayer games. It works for me, but I'm still pissed off. :mad:

True. But still. We shouldn't have to be running around juggling 3rd party programs trying to get a game as big as Starcraft 2 to work. WTF BLIZZARD? :mad:


Aside: my bonus pool is over 2000. LOL.
