I'm giving it a skip for now. I remember reviews of both 1 and 2 saying much the same thing, but I found both of those pretty boring.
It unlocked this morning. I quickly ran it and set up all my keys and graphics options, so I'm ready to try it as soon as I get home.
It uses Unreal Engine 3, so I'd be surprised if mid-range PCs have trouble playing it at max with decent frames.
Same. While I think the production design and obvious attention to detail is amazing in all the games, the game play itself just wasn't my cup of tea.

Hopefully a heavily modified version of the engine.
I don't get it though, there is no excuse to not use a proper current gen graphics engine.
Games been in the making for a very long time though. Tonight I'll give my verdict on the PC versions fidelity.
