BioWare Knights of the Old Republic devs working on new IP

My faith in Bioware has all but dissipated. Once they show me they can deliver something good then I'll be interested.

Yeah, my confidence in them has been shaken as well, but more with regards to sequels that they seem to screw up. A new IP might be fine but I hope they don't make it another trilogy. However, if they make it either a FPS or MMO, I won't ever bother. Neither appeals to me at all.
 
Jade Empire , KOTOR 1 & 2 ... could BioWare be any more awesome during that period?

I have heard good things about the first Dragon Age. I almost bought Dragon Age: Origins one day, but then didn't for some reason. I just watched a few trailers of it, and I wasn't entirely sure I'd like it.

Mass Effect 2 fixed most of what I found at fault with the original. I haven't played ME 3, but apart from the sub-par ending that people complained about, they really went overboard when it came to the DLC. I can only imagine EA played no small part in that though.
