I used thane and Miranda would occasionally swap between Miranda and Mordin.. I liked Miranda only because of the actor who voiced her and who she was modeled from...

Miranda and Jacob are reportedly back in ME3 so kinda disappointed to have another human. I would prefer more aliens. I used Miranda and Grunt most of the time during ME2. I accidentally got Legion and Grunt killed in Suicide mission - felt heartbroken
