Black bride brochure racism row

A graphic designer has accused the Afrikaanse Taal en Kultuurvereniging (ATKV) of racism over a wedding brochure for one of its resorts near Sun City, City Press reported on Sunday.

The designer, who did not want to be named because she did not want to create trouble for her former employer, spoke to the newspaper and forwarded it an e-mail to back up her claims.

Funny thing about this is if you look at tv commercials and magazines these days 80% of them are black populace and you don't hear the white populace complain about every single ad and poster out there

If people start complaining about all things in the media whether it be black or white things are going to get hairy

Keep things at a 50/50 or to please everyone 20/20/20/20/20 then all races will be happy.

Media is contributing a lot to the race row and it should be looked at and fixed

While I don't disagree with you, this is simply a case of having a target market. Nothing wrong with tailoring advertisements to the people you'd expect to want to use your product/service.

I fully agree with you m8, that's what i was trying to get across so why turn this into a race thing again :(

I have had a few times when we've been asked to change the stock photo's on websites because there are too many white people.

Too me that is so wrong and sorry to say this but racist too, do they even know how much time and money goes into doing something like that ?
