Ek verstaan nie, is die datacentres om servers te host (wat soos IWNET is) of gaan jy na hulle toe moet connect om te speel (dedicated server style)? Dan gaan ons mos nie kan speel nie. Ons internet is te k@k.
 
Ding is daar gaan matchmaking wees so as jy lucky is gaan jy low ping matches kan kry hier en daar, maar vir dedicated server play gaan jy UK toe moet connect, dis waar die naaste gameserver datacenter is waar n blackops server sal staan.
 
Well it was easy for my to boycott the original MW2, it'll be just as easy for me to show them the finger for this release as well. I hope PC gamers pirate the SNOT out of this title and hit Activision (read Bobby KoDICK) right in the nutsack.
 
lol this is not even an offical release. It is just a company making a ridiculous claim. Wait till there are some offical releases from IW. Still worried about Tryarch making the title.

I have no idea why everyone is freaking out. We have NEVER been able to and probably never will be able to rent dedi servers from services like that, they are all hosted overseas. We'll have to host our own dedis on our own hardware/bandwidth in a datacenter as per usual (well at least the local ISPs).

So Gameservers has exclusive rights to rent dedi servers, it doesn't affect us, it just affects Gameservers' competitors in the dedi server rental space.

I think everyone has leaped blindly at the wrong conclusion here (not hard to understand considering the MW2 mess).

That is kind of what I meant by my post, but that is far better said :) These are not going to be the only dedicated servers...
