Black Prophecy launched on the 21st of March. It is free to play. Check it out...the graphics are awesome. The game play takes some getting used to, but all in all an amazing game. Looks way better than EvE Online :)
 
Don't wanna... seem like an idiot but how the hell do I sign up for an account? x_x

Edit: Just found this when trying to signup: We're afraid you can't play this game in your location. Sorry.

Lol. Took me a while to spot that too. Fail :(
 
So I signed up using a VPN... And they'll email me when the next batch of accounts are activated.... *clicks delete*

Does anyone have any new info on this game? I downloaded the client tonight, all excited, and found out that it does not want to work in SA. None of the sites mentioned by Prophet seem to be working.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanx

Never liked Eve would I like this game? Only space game I liked was old school hardwar

Fundamentally different games, Eve is sandbox game (basically you can mine and trade and buy spacestations etc.), while BP is PvP and PVE focused (you basically shoot stuff in your spaceship).
 
How do you register an account now? I have tried Prophet's links, this does not work. I do have a Gamigo account but as soon as I try to add the game, you need to register. This then gives me the location error.

Any help would be much appreciated...
 
Guys, my interest in this game has just been garnered but my level of knowledge is letting me down... I can't register, would someone smart please give simple instructions on how to register this game?
 
Same here.I can dl the client fine but I can't register because of the country blocking.Been drooling over this past few days and feeling mega nostalgic about my Starlancer/Freelancer days.

Any help at all?Would love to get into this game asap.

I was able to register an account by using a VPN. Google: Free IP hiding software. But the program I downloaded only has a 3 day trial version (sucks a whole bag of bad things). Furthermore when using the VPN my internet was uber slow (routing traffic via Germany). I give up on this game. Those devs can stick their fascist, exclusionary policies up their goosestepping backsides.
