Blazin' Aces released

It won't start for me, as my soundcard is fucked it keeps on saying "No sound card detected" Pressing ok only makes another error pop up saying the same :(
 
Loving the game, dude!

The music is quite fitting and the SFX is pretty cool too.

I dig how the little dude runs like you run on Hogan Alley. :D

What soundcard do you have?
I know the engine gives problems if you don't have the latest drivers and windows media player updated :/
 
Loving this. It's like Bi-Planes from the Intellivision on steroids. The flip plane sound effect is awesome.

Most importantly the difficulty is just right too.

3. Blazin’ Aces

Red Dot Lab’s Blazin’ Aces is quite the gem. Over the years I’ve enjoyed games like Tom Clancy’s H.A.W.X and IL-2 Sturmovik where I found myself in the cockpit of a plane. However I felt like none of them gave that true dogfighting experience like Blazin’ Aces has. Yes the game is simple and can be difficult at times but I thoroughly enjoyed it.

In addition the game also contains a campaign, skirmish and a multiplayer mode which are all a big plus. The game is also quite 8-bit inspired when it comes to the games levels and plane designs in addition to the chirpy music.

Verdict: 8.0

Haha yeah it took me a while to find out a decent control system. Its kinda hard to find a decent layout when you have 4 keys...
