I am glad that they are not committing to a release date because I don't want them to skimp on quality. If they do put a release date and then the other option by having to keep pushing it back it just seems like bad news. Rather release it when it is done and know that its the best they could have done.

I don't expect it to come out this year though.

I agree, I'm thinking first quarter next year maybe, if we're lucky.
At least Blizzard has a reputation for bringing out quality titles, they'd be pretty dam stupid to push the release date forward to compromise that.

The diablo III skill system has been overhauled. I haven't seen this discussed here at mygaming so thought I'd post the link to the ign article on it. Even though its different, it sounds pretty kewl. I really did love the old system tho. Mixed feelings.

That's the very reason Blizzard games are very good and polished unlike say COD that can also be a well rounded off game.(remember all the COD Blops issues after lunch)

There's too many good games out this year. Even if it's released this year, I'll most likely only get it next year. They can push the release date back a bit and polish the final touches of the game.

I seriously doubt that D3 will release before the end of the year. I wouldn't mind it tho. I'm sooooo lus for a Diablo game.

I would be very suprized if the demo comes out before the full game, much like starcraft 2
