Bloodborne: the official thread

Nope, yup and nope.

Raru has the Collectors Edition and Nightmare Edition, but no prices on them.
I don't think anyone has a price yet, which is why BT Games pre-order is the safest bet IMO. You just need to pay R100 deposit and when the price is announced and you find it too expensive, you can just cancel the order and use the R100 on something else in-store (if it's at least 2 weeks before release).

I'm tempted to watch it, but I don't want to!

Same here, lol. I haven't watched it yet, but I just might give in before I go to bed.

I started watching a vid on Dying light yesterday, and then realised it was the first 20 odd mins of the game and i nearly shat myself! I want to experience the first part of a game with the controller in my hands! :p

I watched part of the video but skipped the whole intro cutscene. It's the same area as in the Alpha, but this time during the day. Hope that means there will be some sort of day/night cycle.

I was actually wondering about that, cause everything I've seen so far was night time play only

So apperently when you die in Bloodborne you will lose all your currently collected blood (much like souls in the Souls series), but unlike the Souls series it will not drop on the ground where you died. It will instead be transfused to a nearby enemy which you will have to kill to get it back. You will know which enemy has your blood by the glow in their eyes.

This is a pretty awesome twist to the mechanic from the Souls series, but I imagine it's going to cause some tears if it applies to boss fights as well.

That is such a sick mechanic! Would be interesting if the blood makes them stronger in some way as well, a bit like the Nemesis system in Shadow of Mordor...
