CraddocAtTwitch is a player that has managed to beat most of the major Bloodborne bosses while at the lowest possible level in the game, without healing, and without guns. Really.
Left is optional area if I'm not mistaken, but you get something important.AMELIA IS DEAD!!!
....now do I take a left or a right at the Grand Cathedral?
Left is not optional. It leads to Hemwick Charnel Lane. Right is the optional one (depending on what happens to you after you fight The One Reborn), but it is recommended to at least go kill the 2 hunters there in case you need to go that way later.Left is optional area if I'm not mistaken, but you get something important.
Right is also very important way to go. But it was a challenge, at least for me.

Which cave are talking about? I don't remember there being one there. IIRC once you turn left in front of the Great Cathedral you follow a little path and then it comes to sort of an open forest type area with a bunch of dogs and guys shooting at you as well as a couple of nasty enemies that spawn in when you approach certain places. This forest area then leads to Hemwick Charnel Lane.so I must go into the scary cave?![]()

Aah ok, I see now. But yeah, you have to follow that scary path. [emoji14]yeah that sounds like it. at a clanve it looked like a cave when I was sightseeing around the cathedral

think I'll take a right then first
I'm lvl 49 now so I was thinking of revisiting my old pal Djura
Did you defeat Darkbeat Paarl as yet? I would suggest doing that first![]()
no I have not attempted that again yet. should maybe do that seeing as I can now make Ludwig's Holy Blade a fire blade![]()
If you're a strength based build I would highly suggest against that. This is not like Dark Souls where it adds fire to your weapon, it will remove the strength scaling and make it a pure fire (arcane I think?) based weapon.
But I would suggest the following in your current posistion:
Spoiler: show1. Turn right at Great Cathedral down to the two hunters and kill them.
2. Get Henryk's armour set. The one hunter you just fought with the lightning.
3. Henryk's garb is high in lightning defence, use that when fighting Darkbeast Paarl.
4. Once defeated, progress past the boss area, not the way you came!
yeah I saw that. but the fire damage is more than my physical damage.... I'll take a photo of my build tonight
The fire damage may be more, but your skillset may not be suited for it and thus end up doing less damage. But yeah, let's see your skills![]()
yeah I did notice that I had to hit those lantern guys on the way to Grand Cathedral more to put them down
But what do I know, I started and ended with the Hunters Axe![]()
Right! Here's what I'm working with....
Yeah lately when it comes to lvling I'm torn between strength, endurance and skill. And at some stage I should probably start pushing up my vitality as well...See, like me you're more of a strength build. You're not going to benefit from making your weapon fire based, which scales with Bloodtinge/Arcane (can't remember which) and are your lowest stats.
