Good lord must stop watching trailer but can not stop.I really dig that they have removed the shield, will lead to a quicker style of fighting.
 
not seeing a lot of character customization...

and will this have the same co-op system as Dark Souls perhaps?

Very little has been said or released about both those topics. From what I've heard there will still be a lot of character customization. And all they have said is that there will be a new 'co-op' style, whatever that means. Still a lot of info to come out of this, but knowing the big M it will be promising and worth the wait.
 
Just got an invite to the Alpha! :D I can't see the particulars on my phone though so I'll have to wait until I get home tonight to see if there is a date/other details.
 
That's interesting. I don't know if I would want that kind of access. This is one of those titles I don't want much if any info or playability until the release. Want to go in as blind as possible.

Totally agree. Should be the approach to any From Software game.

I kind of agree, but to be honest there is just no way I would be able to resist downloading the Alpha and checking it out. It seems I didn't get in for sure, had to agree to some terms and then they said they will contact me again before next Tuesday with a code and more details if I'm chosen.
